We wanted to share some thoughts about our booking with Untold band who performed our wedding recently in Dorset.
We decided fairly early on that we wanted a have band at our wedding and we after a bit research we found Untold. We watched some of their videos and felt that they were definitely the right band for us given the style of music. After a few messages back and forth with Brett we booked them in for our wedding day. We paid a small deposit, it was really straightforward. Brett was very communicative throughout and we were really excited. About six weeks before the wedding we had a zoom call with Brett and we discussed what kind of music we liked and kind of tailored the playlist to our tastes. It was great to meet Brett we introduced him to our dog and we met Brett’s cat and it was a very smooth process and it was nice to break the ice with Brett before we before we had the guys at the wedding.
On the day itself they arrived set up really quietly, we didn’t notice at all which is exactly what you want from your band. We actually got a couple of moments with Brett to catch up before the music played. The guys performed a lovely unplugged set on the Terrace for us and then came our first dance which we were dreading but it was so much better than we could have imagined. The fact that the band played one of our favourite songs made it such a special moment for both of us. It was absolutely perfect and we loved it. It was a brilliant first dance and we won’t forget it for a long time.
Then came the main show. They performed two one hour sets and I have to say that our guests absolutely loved Untold. We got so many compliments, I mean we got so many compliments about you guys! My nephew who was very shy boy basically danced the whole night away and declared at the end that he wanted to be in the band but also wanted the band to perform at his next birthday party much to my sister’s dismay! Honestly you got crowd moving, everyone was dancing we absolutely loved it. So many people come up to both of us after the wedding and said you were the best wedding band that they’d ever seen and it’s so true. Even after the wedding you guys managed to stick around for a bit had a drink had some food and it actually felt like we had like friends at wedding, like you were part of the guests as not just the band. We just want to thank you so much for everything you did for us you really, really truly made our wedding day and we just can’t stop smiling after all and we’re so glad we chose Untold. Thanks guys!
